What’s inside
Aloe Sunscreen uses four active sunscreen ingredients. Three are UV filters (homosalate, octisalate and octocrylene), and the fourth is zinc oxide. Forever describes the zinc oxide as natural and non-nanosized. It is not a mineral-only sunscreen.
Active ingredients: Homosalate 8.5%, Octisalate 5.0%, Octocrylene 10.0%, Zinc Oxide 12.0%.
Inactive ingredients: aloe barbadensis leaf juice (stabilized* aloe vera gel), caprylyl glycol, cetearyl ethylhexanoate, chlorphenesin, diisostearoyl polyglyceryl-3 dimer dilinoleate, ethylhexylglycerin, fragrance, hydrogenated castor oil, magnesium sulfate, phenoxyethanol, polyhydroxystearic acid, potassium sorbate, propanediol, propylheptyl caprylate, sodium gluconate, tocopheryl acetate, tridecane, undecane, VP/hexadecene copolymer, water.
Tocopheryl acetate is a form of vitamin E. According to Forever, vitamin E “combats free radical damage, softens and penetrates deeper for greater moisturization.”
